Shipping / Handling

We ship both domestically and internationally via UPS and FedEx. Our watches are shipped fully insured and typically arrive within 2-3 days for domestic shipments. International shipments typically arrive within 3-5 days.

For domestic shipments, we now have our watches delivered to a local UPS access point (UPS store or similar) when possible. This allows our customers to pick up their watch at their convenience vs having to have someone be at their residence to sign for it.


Batteries

We offer free battery changes on all of our HAQ watches. As part of the battery change service, we replace all low pressure seals and clean / inspect the watch. We only ask you to pay the shipping.


Warranty

SēL (the Manufacturer) believes it is your right to decide how, when, and by whom your watch should be serviced.  However it is important to consider how that may affect your warranty.

INITIAL LIMITED WARRANTY

All SēL watches purchased after 1 December 2021 are warrantied for a period of 3 years against mechanical faults and against original defects in workmanship.

LIMITATIONS

Only genuine SēL watches purchased directly from the SēL workshop in Tucson Arizona USA are warrantied by the company.  SēL does not have ANY authorized resellers, dealers, or service centers at this time.  The only way to purchase a genuine SēL is directly from the workshop in Arizona.

Warranties are only valid between SēL and the original purchaser of a new or certified pre-owned watch purchased directly from SēL in Arizona.  SēL warranties are non-transferable.  SēL does not warranty any SēL watch purchased from an unauthorized reseller or private individual.

Batteries are not covered by the warranty but will be changed for free during the warranty period for the original purchaser.  Purchaser to pay shipping.

Automatic movements are extremely complex machines based on antique technology.  SēL adjusts in positions and regulates to an average daily rate of -4 seconds, +6 seconds during bench validation.  This bench test is considered our standard and tolerance for “proper function” on the bench in our workshop.  Our warranty does not cover timekeeping.

This warranty excludes normal wear-and-tear, loss, theft, damage due to intentional or unintentional misuse, improper handling, neglect, or other external factors including but not limited to various force majeure, meteor impacts, dinosaur attacks, thermonuclear war, high level magnetism, electromagnetic pulse weapons, non-terrestrial humanoid invasions, etc.

Customers are responsible for incoming shipping costs without exception.  Items returned to customers after approved warranty service shall be prepaid by SēL.

THINGS THAT CAN AFFECT OR VOID YOUR WARRANTY

Original serial numbers shall not be modified, defaced, or removed from the case back, or other serialized parts such as clasps or the warranty shall be rendered immediately null and void because we are unable to verify the identity of the watch.

We do not warranty service or repair work, or any related mechanical faults arising from the same, when such service or repair work is performed by non-affiliates of SeL.

We do not warranty repair parts manufactured by, supplied by, or installed by other parties.  We will happily provide recommendations on our prefered parts to use for independent repair.
